Happy New Year!
Dear reader, this post is to wish you a very happy new year! Wait… wasn’t new year about six weeks ago? Yes, that’s true! But it’s also true that today this very blog is turning one year old, thus today we’re in the dawn of a new year!
Here’s a quick and dirty recap of the 2009-2010 season: somekindofpaper.info started on february 12 2009, since then I’ve published 52 posts (I wouldn’t dare to call them articles). On march I published the most viewed post of this year (WTF!). On april we all saw the queen is dead live! I started using inkscape on may and also posted the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds gig on San Diego 2008. I became a screencaster on june with not a single major hit, maybe that wasn’t for me. On july we all welcomed the HTML5 video tag (aren’t they cute?). August and September weren’t too notorious, but then came octuber with some good posts, it was a great month, maybe my wedding has something to do with that (I love you luzy!). I take a break on november (honeymoon and stuff) and then said hello to C on december and said goodbye to 2010 with my dvd authoring revisited post. On january I made some user friendly shell scripts and finally on february I get handy with one Do-It-Yourself post.
Now that a new year begins it’s a good time to make some new year resolutions: publish at least 52+1 posts, try to post more about electronics, renew the layout of the blog at least one this year and make this site a little more interactive, I can’t promise any iPads but something will come along. Also I have a personal resolution: publish an USB PIC Microcontroller programmer by the end of the year.
I would also like to thank you, dear reader, for staying tuned this first year and want to invite you to keep returning for the season two of this blog.
Happy New Year to all of you!
