Episode 02: Create an Orb
The very first thing I tried to make with Inkscape (without any luck) was a glass looking orb. It isn’t hard to find tutorials that can walk through the proccess of creating an orb, there are some good ones (e.g. simple metal orb using gradients) but i wasn’t able to get any result so I gave up on that, until I found the advance orb tutorial at gimp-tutorials.net. I followed that one and really liked the result so here is the second episode of the Some Kind of Screencast series, and once again this Inkscape screencast is based on a GIMP tutorial.
